Food Places in Atlanta

Atlanta Food Places
I was very sure that Atlanta would offer interesting food options, but I was really impressed with the places that I tried

Bone Garden Cantina

This was an interesting Mexican restaurant near downtown Atlanta. It was a little difficult to find it in the lumber yard but the giant mariache man statue on the street helped. The place has a nice ambiance with great outdoor seating. The menu is not typical of what you will find in a mexican place, it is a small plates fare so you can order couple and taste everything. I am a vegetarian and always looking for something different that is not just beans, rice, guacamole and chips. I was pleasantly surprised to find vegetarian tamales here (Disclaimer - the tamale batter had some pork fat, but I am not that picky, so I ate it, the disclaimer is also on the menu). It was amazing, perfectly seasoned.

I also tried the Flor De Jamaica and it tasted really good and different, which is what I am always looking for. All the food was accompanied by great Tamarindo Margarita!!
Bone Garden Cantina should definitely be on your list if you are visiting Atlanta

Eclipse de Luna

This is an interesting Tapas place with great relaxed atmosphere. The weather was perfect for us to enjoy the outdoor patio. They have special Vegan as well as Gluten free menu which is perfect. I had the Tomato Fresco, Stuffed Piquillo Pepper, marinated olives and few others. They were different and tasted pretty good. Another one on your list if you are in Atlanta

My colleague who was with me tried the scallops and the bacon wrapped dates with Chorizo and it was superb!
